Hello, and thanks for the invite!! We have four!! 35 year old step-son, two grandsons...5, and 11...11 year old was born on 9/11....before there was a 9/11, but he is growing, and meds help keep him "at hand". 25 year old son....thinks he's 15. Is employed (union), and loves to fly helicopters...remote control, his four wheelers, and STILL lives at home. A 24 year old daughter just graduated from ISU 2 years ago, on her own about 35 miles away, and has a great bf. Daughter #3..17 years old, and .....17 years old. Hubby and I both retired, but busier now than ever before!! Be healthy, be happy PATIENCE!!!!!! debi
I have learned today that they seem to listen when I speak quietly....more than if I start yelling. Makes them wonder why I'm not "going crazy" with the situation, and...we all sat quietly, and began to talk, instead of defending ourselves with each other......we had a great lunch at the iHop!!! I haven't been to one of thoses since I was a kid!!!
I'll brag about my baby girl. Her name is Adaleena and she's 11 months old. At such a young age her thrust for knowledge is exceptional in my eyes. She began sitting on her own at 3 months, walking at 8 months and going on the potty at 9 months. To my understanding she is well beyond her years but that may be a mothers bias opinion. I'm very proud to call her my daughter and I'm glad she chose my husband and I to be her parents. She truly is "the biggest part of me".
Best wishes to you for a very healthy life, because that's what it will take to keep up with that little girl!! Our first started walking at 8 months...never crawled!! He's 25 now, and still hasn't crawled......Laugh, love, and PATIENCE!!! debi
