Introducing Myself On Plumdrop
I am new here and thought I'd post a blog so other members can get to know me. I have been selling online since 2002. In the beginning I was selling my husband's music cd, Classic Fantasy until he was in a work related accident and injured his right elbow. He crushed it. So he could not play his guitar for quite some time. I had to come up with a way to make some money so we could live. I ended up learning how to sell by using eBay. eBay is a great tool for teaching you how to sell online! I had my own store and did very well back then.
Now I have two websites, Larry Gene Music and String Baby on which I sell guitar, banjo and mandolin strings. I feel that I provide an excellent quality product to my customers and offer Free Shipping to all U.S. and Canadian buyers. Other international sales, I try to offer the lowest shipping I can to make it affordable for them also. I ship strings all over the country and the world, having regular customers in Paris and Japan.
I also write two blogs, Solar Baby and the other one is Homesteading On The Internet. They are both journals I keep of my life on my off-the-grid homestead. I feel it is important to do what you can to be self reliant in the present times we are living in. We do not know what is coming up in the future and it does not look good. Selling on these sites, writing blogs, growing you own food, providing your own electricity and heat are all ways you can stay independent and prosper in these bad economic times.
